About Wildseeker

Wildseeker Safaris is a boutique Destination Management Company founded with a clear mission

Designing enriching, personalised African journeys that connect people to place - with care, intention, and conservation at heart.

Why Wildseeker?

Rooted in Southern Africa and focused initially on Zimbabwe, Zambia, Botswana, and South Africa, we specialise in custom itineraries that reflect the uniqueness of each traveller.

Whether it’s a walking safari on the banks of the Zambezi River, a horseback safari in the Okavango Delta, or a cultural experience in Cape Town, our journeys are tailored with thoughtful detail and deep respect for the landscapes and communities we work with.

As a start-up led by one passionate founder, Wildseeker Safaris offers clients a highly personal experience: with every itinerary planned by someone who truly cares.

Meet The Founder

Hi, I'm Sarah Taylor - founder, lead travel consultant, and the person behind every Wildseeker itinerary.

With a background in consulting and a lifelong love for travel, I launched Wildseeker to combine my skills with my passion for Africa’s wild places and the people who call them home. I’ll be your go-to for questions, advice, and crafting your perfect safari.

How We Work

1. Share your story

Get in touch and tell us about yourself: your travel dreams, preferences, and how you’d like to experience Africa, your way. We’ll work closely with you to shape a trip that reflects your interests and travel style.

2. Receive a Tailored Proposal

We’ll create a detailed, costed itinerary designed specifically for you, with thoughtfully selected properties and experiences.

3. Refine Together

We’ll collaborate with you to fine-tune every detail until your itinerary is just right -one that you’re truly excited about.

4. Leave the Planning to Us

Once confirmed, we take care of all the arrangements. You’ll receive comprehensive travel documents and have us on hand to answer any questions before you go.

5. Enjoy Peace of Mind

While you’re on your journey, our trusted local partners will look after you every step of the way – and we’ll remain available 24/7 for any urgent assistance.

6. Share Your Experience

When you return, we’d love to hear your stories. Your feedback helps us grow and ensures we continue offering exceptional journeys.

Did you know?

When you book your safari through Wildseeker Safaris, you won’t pay more than you would booking directly with the lodges - and in many cases, we can save you money by securing special offers and insider deals you might not find on your own.

Our Commitment to Conservation

Although we’re a small startup, we’re determined to make a positive impact from the very beginning. We love this continent we call home, and we want to ensure that its landscapes, wildlife, and beauty can be experienced for generations to come—long after our time.

That’s why, from day one, Wildseeker Safaris is committing 0.5% of all sales to support the Kariba Animal Welfare Fund Trust (KAWFT).

Founded in 2010 by three dedicated Kariba residents, KAWFT raises funds and awareness to treat and protect injured or distressed wildlife in the Kariba region. Their work plays a vital role in safeguarding the animals and ecosystems that make this part of Africa so special. In addition to veterinary care and rehabilitation, KAWFT runs two snare patrol units that work alongside the Zimbabwe Parks & Wildlife Management Authority and their rangers. Operating six days a week, these patrols tirelessly remove the indiscriminate wire snares set by poachers, helping to protect Kariba’s wildlife from unnecessary suffering and loss.

By travelling with us, you’re helping support real conservation on the ground.
